[ That's going to take some getting used to but she's adaptable, it'll happen. She is glad to see that Shiro isn't stuck wearing the same outfits over again - though it peaks her curiosity as to how that works. Maybe she can ask Coran or Allura.

Anyway. Back to the reason Pidge sought Shiro out in the first place. ]

I've been working on something and sort of want the team to test it out for me. Well, not just that but I built them to sort of act like beacons in the case of an emergency. They also deliver letters and do a few other things.

[ With that she presents... a mechanical bird. ]

I call them Pidge-ons.

[ A Pidge-on. Cute. Probably could've used something like this when he ended up at the bottom of the lake last month, but, you know, at least that's a sign it'll probably also be useful in the future. ]

You need help testing it out? What do you want me to do?

[ Shiro ending up at the bottom of the lake is exactly why Pidge put a rush on finishing them up for the Voltron group. Sometimes trying to communicate via amulets isn't always possible and the birds are independent of that. ]

Yeah, testing them. [ She figured Shiro would agree to that. ] Just keep it with you if you're going into potentially dangerous situations. It'll stay out of your way in a fight and if any one of us is down for the count, they're programmed to find the nearest Pidge-on to get help.

[ Pushes her glasses up. ] I'm working on more advanced programming so they'll ping the house too, this way whoever's at home will hear it. Maybe set a base up at the bakery as well since a lot of us work over there.

[ Programming the actual bird is easy, it's getting the system up and running in the house that she's still working on. ]

If you get it working, you should set one up at Kevin's house, too. He and Bulat are handy in an emergency.

[ He inspects the Pidge-on closely, turning it this way and that in his hands. ]
